IT professionals worldwide are tasked with stopping damaging security breaches that wreak havoc on networks. To ensure internal security system safety, Security professionals need to be knowledgeable on the most current security measures.

Most businesses regard enhancing enterprise network security as a strategic priority. The Security+ and SCP Program are the ideal next steps for IT professionals to add security skills that are increasingly valued by employers.

Security+ from CompTIA is a vendor-neutral baseline certification for individuals entering the Information Security field. To earn Security+ certification, IT professionals are required to be proficient in a wide range of security concepts, including access control, authentication, and external attack. They must have also mastered such areas as operational and organizational security and the basics of cryptography. You will build on your knowledge and professional experience with computer hardware, operating systems, and networks as you acquire the specific skills required to implement basic security services on any type of computer network

SCP is a two-level vendor-neutral security certification program. This training will lead to a vendor neutral security certification for IT professionals. The SCP structure is unique in that it measures competence both in the core skills that are broadly required for the roles of security professional and security architect, as well as skills in specific security technologies such as firewalls, IDS, PKI, biometrics and forensics.
