firewalls, IDS, PKI, biometrics and forensics.

I: Network Security Fundamentals
This course is designed for Network Administrators,
Network Security Administrators, Firewall and Server
Administrators, IT Professionals involved in network
support issues, Candidates interested in pursuing the
SCNP credential whose responsibilities include:
implementing and managing corporate networks and
involvement in the creation of and implementation of the
network security measures.
Level
II: Network Defense & Countermeasures
This course will focus heavily on Firewalls and
Intrusion Detection Systems, providing for nearly 70% of
the content. This course is designed for Network
Administrators, Network Security Administrators,
Firewall and Server Administrators, IT Professionals
involved in network support issues, Candidates
interested in pursuing the SCNP credential whose
responsibilities include identifying threats against the
network and developing countermeasures using firewall
systems and intrusion detection systems.
